Inspiriert von der Republik Dubrovnik [14. – 18. Jh.], thematisiert der in einem Zeitraum von drei Jahren durch Puppen-/Stopmotion-Arbeit entstandene Film die Struktur der Gesellschaft und die Tugenden, die Platon als essenziell für eine funktionierende Gesellschaft betrachtete.
Inspired by the Republic of Dubrovnik [14th – 18th century], the film, which was created over a period of three years through puppet/stop-motion work, explores the structure of society and the virtues that Plato considered essential for a functioning society.
Antonia Begušić ist Regisseurin und Animationsfilmmacherin. Sie absolvierte die Kunstschule Luka Sorkočević und anschließend die Akademie der bildenden Künste in Zagreb in der Abteilung für Animationsfilm und neue Medien. Bisher hat sie an zahlreichen internationalen Serien und (Kino-)Filmen gearbeitet.
Antonia Begušić is a director and animation filmmaker. She graduated from the Luka Sorkočević Art School and then the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, specializing in animation film and new media. So far, she has worked on numerous international series and films.
