JANUAR, 28 – 30 ist ein Ausschnitt aus dem Tagebuchfilm EIGENTLICH IM JANUAR (2022). Eine Tasche, voll von unbelichtetem und teils überlagertem Filmmaterial, ist Anlass an jedem Tag des Monats eine dreiminütige Rolle Schmalfilm zu belichten und zu kommentieren. Die drei Tage kurz vor Ende Januar geraten dabei zu einer launig-witzigen Auseinandersetzung über Alltag und Kunst, Film und Experiment, Bild und Zeit.
JANUARY, 28 – 30 is an excerpt from the diary film EIGENTLICH IM JANUAR (2022). A bag full of unexposed and partly superimposed film material is the occasion to expose and comment on a three-minute roll of cine film on each day of the month. The three days shortly before the end of January turn into a humorous and witty discussion about everyday life and art, film and experiment, image and time.
Jan Peters studierte an der HfBK Hamburg und war Mitbegründer des Filmemacher:innenkollektivs „Abbildungszentrum“. Er ist bekannt für seine Tagebuchfilme. Seit 2012 ist er Professor für Film und bewegtes Bild an der Kunsthochschule Kassel.
