Türen gehören wohl zu den konkretesten und alltäglichsten Manifestationen von Transition. Als Schwellen markieren sie die Übergangszonen von öffentlich und privat, von innen und außen, sind geöffnet oder geschlossen. In diesem photographischen Animationsfilm werden sie zu Zonen des Übergangs im urbanen Raum und dienen dem Film als Vervielfältigung seiner selbst.
Doors are probably among the most concrete and everyday manifestations of transition. As thresholds, they mark the transition zones of public and private, of inside and outside, are open or closed. In this photographic animation film, they become zones of transition in urban space and serve as a duplication of the film itself.
Die drei Studierenden der Neuen Medien an der City University in Hong Kong widmen sich der Erforschung neuer Formen kreativer Medien wie Sounddesign, 3D-Modelling oder Physical Computing. Der Schnittpunkt dieser Interessen ist die Animation.
