An einem heißen Sommertag an der Küste steht die 17-jährige Nayla vor derselben Entscheidung, die heute viele libanesische Jugendliche beschäftigt – bleiben oder gehen. Die zwei Männer in ihrem Leben haben dazu klare Vorstellungen, doch beide könnten bald eine Überraschung erleben.
On a hot summer day on the coast, 17-year-old Nayla faces the same decision that all Lebanese youth face today – to stay or move. The two men in her life have clear opinions about it, but both might soon encounter a surprise.
Leila Basma ist eine libanesische Filmemacherin und Fotografin. Sie hat ihren Master in Filmregie an der FAMU absolviert und war bereits auf einer Vielzahl an internationalen Filmfestivals vertreten.
Leila Basma is a Lebanese filmmaker and photographer. She earned her Master’s degree in Film Directing from FAMU and has been featured at a variety of international film festivals.
