Detective Mortelli, ein Freund von Glücksspiel und Alkohol, kommt im Ruhestand nicht gut zurecht. Genau an dem Tag, an dem seine Frau ihn verlässt, erhält er einen Anruf von Chief Rowley, der ihm einen letzten Fall zuweist, vielleicht den seltsamsten und aufregendsten seiner Karriere.

Ben Fernández ist spezialisiert auf Animationen aus fotografischen Ausschnitten. 2016 feierte er mit dem Kurzfilm THE STUNT MANUAL sein Debüt und hatte großen Erfolg auf internationalen Festivals. MISS MBULU (2018) wurde für die Goya Awards nominiert und gewann den Berlanga-Preis für den besten animierten Kurzfilm.
Ben Fernández specializes in animations created from photographic cutouts. In 2016, he made his debut with the short film THE STUNT MANUAL, which achieved great success at international festivals. MISS MBULU (2018) was nominated for the Goya Awards and won the Berlanga Award for the best animated short film.
