As an international open-air short film festival, the OpenEyes Filmfest has been shaping film and cinema culture both regionally and nationally since 1994.
For our anniversary, we are remembering our roots on the Amöneburg – and daring to go up again: Our 2025 festival edition will take place on the Schlossparkbühne Marburg and in the Capitol Filmkunsttheater.
The second edition of the after-work format for everyone who is in the mood for relaxed networking, creative impulses and cinematic inspiration. Experience a carefully curated selection of inspiring short films in a relaxed atmosphere. Under the motto “Best-Of OpenEyes”, you can watch films from three decades of festival history on the roof terrace of Rivvers Marburg.
