Brot-Erinnerungen erzählen Shirins Leben in ihrer Heimatstadt Teheran. Auf dieser sinnlichen Reise zeigt sie, wie Brot ihre eigene Geschichte und die Irans begleitet hat.
Bread memories recount Shirin’s life in her hometown, Tehran. Through this sensory journey, she tells how bread has followed her personal history and that of Iran.
Roshanak Roshan studierte Figurentheater in Teheran und zog 2007 nach Frankreich, um Filmregie an der ENSAV in Toulouse zu studieren. Ihre Erfahrung mit Puppenspiel und Film führte sie zur Animation. Ihre Filme 21 MARS und YALDA liefen auf zahlreichen Festivals weltweit.
Roshanak Roshan studied puppet theatre in Tehran before moving to France in 2007 to study film directing at ENSAV Toulouse. Her work combines puppetry and film, leading her to animation. Her films 21 MARS and YALDA ran at numerous festivals worldwide.
