Samuel Frantz Suffren ist ein haitianischer Regisseur und Produzent. Aktuell entwickelt er einen Dokumentarfilm mit dem Titel LÒTBÒ und seinen ersten Spielfilm, JE M’APPELLE NINA SHAKIRA, sowie einer Kurzfilmtrillogie. Der erste Film dieser Trilogie, AGWE, wurde beim Locarno Film Festival ausgewählt und gewann den Preis für den besten Diaspora-Film beim FESPACO. DES RÊVES EN BATEAUX PAPIERS ist der zweite Film der Trillogie.
Samuel Frantz Suffren is a Haitian director and producer. He is currently developing a documentary titled LÒTBÒ and his first feature film, JE M’APPELLE NINA SHAKIRA, as well as a short film trilogy. The first film of this trilogy, AGWE, was selected at the Locarno Film Festival and won the Best Diaspora Film award at FESPACO. DES RÊVES EN BATEAUX PAPIERS is the second film in the trilogy.
